Welcome to Staffordshire Outbuildings. We are a family based firm in Milton, Staffordshire that has over 27 years experience in hand making garden furniture for the public and commercial venues.
As a company, we are unique within the market. We purposely design, manufacture and deliver all of our outdoor furniture directly from our Staffordshire factory across the UK. This enables us to offer phenomenal customer support, plus our talented engineers are constantly driven to ensure the high standard of quality for each and every customer order.
Although based in Stoke-on-Trent, we offer delivery to all over the country as well as Wales and parts of Scotland. We aim to deliver within 7-10 working days after you have placed your order.
Our dedicated office team is available to arrange delivery at your convenience, our own transport team will place the furniture in your desired location. We use our own drivers and delivery vehicles that operate 6 days a week.
The story begins with the delivery of quality Scandinavian Redwood, the wood is delivered in a raw state for our team to plain, cut, drill and assemble.
Once the wood is taken to our Staffordshire based factory the process can then begin.
The wood is then taken to the milling department and the process then begins. The raw timber is hand fed through a 6 heading moulding machine. The wood is then shaped smoothly and into the correct widths of timber that is required for production.
Once the milling process is complete the wood is then taken to the cross cutting department so the lengths of timber can be cut to the correct size ready for the production team.
Our drilling machine will then precisely drill into the correct areas for each length of wood.
All of our items are created in jigs to assure each piece is the exactly the same. A member of our construction team will then choose the wooden slats to assure quality throughout every step of your furniture.
Once we have handcrafted your item, we will then hand assemble each individual piece of the furniture. This is done by one of our skilled members of our construction team.

Once each handcrafted item has been created, the furniture is then inspected before being approved for delivery.
Once the furniture has been inspected your item will be placed onto one of our transport vehicles. One of our experienced drivers will deliver your handcrafted pieces of furniture straight to your door, we will then carefully construct the furniture to your preferred location.
The delivery date and details will then be confirmed and one of our experienced drivers will be on route.
All the wood we use is quality Scandinavian Redwood from from ethically green forests which carry the FSC certificate. Every tree we use for production we replant two to maintain our ethically green sourced timber.
The tree is then felled and cut into logs ready to be taken to the mill
Once taken to the mill the raw lengths are now in Scandinavia ready to be transported to the UK.
Once the raw lengths are outside the mill in Scandinaiva they are then ready to be transported to the UK.
